Forbes: Colorado Springs Home Prices Likely to Rise

Forbes Magazine named Colorado Springs one of the top 10 cities where home prices are likely to rise. In an article published on August 25, 2008, Colorado Springs is listed with cities like Albuquerque, New Mexico, Austin, Texas and Portland, Oregon as cities likely to see a rise in home prices as soon as next year.

“Cities like Atlanta and Colorado Springs, Colo., may be reeling from high defaults and foreclosures, but from 2007 through 2012, their economies are expected to experience 2% and 1.6% average annual job growth.”

Once again, Colorado Springs is receiving national attention for the positive aspects of our community. In 2006, Colorado Springs was listed as #1 in the Best Places to Live survey by Money Magazine.
